We are in receipt of the attached Request which has been forwarded to the
appropriate Department(s).  Please note the Ready Date of on or before
April 23, 2021.

Upon review of the attached Request, we have interpreted same as follows:

 1. “All code violations”  We interpret that to be a open Property
Maintenance violations.  However, the Borough of Matawan’s  Property
Maintenance Violations are filed by individual property address/block
and lot.  Under OPRA - Custodians are not required to conduct research
or create new records in response to an OPRA request.  Therefore, this
Item 1 is COMPLETE unless specific property address and/or block and
lot is cited and we can provide copy of those Property Maintenance
Violations if same exist.
 2. “All Tax Delinquents/Liens” as stated, if any.
 3. “All Vacant/Abandoned Properties” as stated, if any.
 4. “All Utility Delinquents/Liens (if applicable)” as stated, if any. 
The Borough of Matawan’s utilities refer to water and sewer.

If we have misunderstood or misinterpreted your Request, please notify us
immediately otherwise we will proceed accordingly.
