Dear Teaneck Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I hope you are doing well.
I am writing to respectfully follow up regarding my pending OPRA request. I understand that locating and reviewing records can take time, and I appreciate the effort involved in processing these requests.
However, my request has now been extended multiple times with the explanation that the agency is still searching for responsive records. While I understand that N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(i) permits a reasonable extension of time when additional time is reasonably necessary, the statute also requires that the extension be reasonable and that the records custodian provide an anticipated response date.
Would you please provide an updated status of the search, including whether responsive records have been identified, what remains to be completed, and a firm estimated date by which I can expect a final response?

Responsive records to your request have been located and are currently
being reviewed by legal counsel. You request yielded many pages so it
