I am in receipt of your Open Public Records Request and common law right
of access dated Wednesday, May 27, 2020 @12:44pm for the following:

Please provide all purchase order history for purchases by the police
department from 2012 to 2019. For each order, please include the date,
description, vendor, and amount of the purchase.

Your request requires additional time beyond the seven (7) business days
to fulfill. These documents are under review for preservation of
confidentiality of emergency or security procedures which if disclosed
would jeopardize the security of buildings and or persons. OPRA allows
custodians to seek extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.i.
Specifically, OPRA states that “the requestor shall be advised by the
custodian when the record can be made available. In accordance with the
March 20, 2020 amendment to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(i) we request an extension to
Friday, June 12, 2020.
