2. Date on which body cameras were deployed to any of the police officers for the first time (year and month).

3. Invoice of body cameras purchase (if body cameras were purchased).

Yours faithfully,

Kim

Connell, Maureen, Edison Township

2 Attachments

Attached is our current policy governing BWC and MVR (cameras in cars) last updated July 18, 2019.

2nd attachment is purchase order history for AXON. It includes 125 Body Worn Cameras (BWC), 60 car cameras (MVR), 125 less lethal “Tasers” or conducted electronic devices (CED), and unlimited cloud storage for all video recordings. There was an initial outlay in 2016. We first deployed BWC’s in 2017 and Fleet MVR in 2019. Our recurring expense for all BWC, CED, MVR and Storage is 178,920 per year.
This completes your OPRA request.

Thank you,
