Dear Chief Grover,

Thank you for your reply. I noticed that body cameras were purchased 1 year before the deployment date. Did no police officers use them in the field during that year? I would appreciate any insights as to why it took the police department 1 year to deploy. Thank you.

Yours sincerely,

Taeho Kim

Charles Grover,

Mr. Taeho -
The department's body worn cameras were purchased by a prior police chief
who has since retired. Upon assuming command of the department in 2017, I
initiated the necessary steps in order to have our body worn cameras
deployed and assigned to officers.

Respectfully,
Chief Charles Grover
