Hello,

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I respectfully request access to and copies of public records related to the following incident:

Subject: 36-year-old male Target employee
Approximate Date and Time of Incident: July 8, 2023, at approximately 8:00 PM
Location: Target Distribution Center, Logan Township, New Jersey
Incident: Investigation involving a 36-year-old Target employee who was accused of unlawfully taking company merchandise from the Target Distribution Center. According to publicly available information, officers with the Logan Township Police Department responded to and investigated the incident.

REQUESTING:

- All body-worn camera (BWC) video and audio recordings created by responding officers.
- All dash camera, in-car camera, surveillance (CCTV), or other video recordings obtained or created in connection with this investigation.
- All recorded police interviews and custodial interrogations, including associated audio and video recordings.
- All photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, digital media, and other evidentiary materials associated with this case that are subject to disclosure.

I respectfully request that all responsive records be provided in their native electronic format whenever available, including by email, secure file transfer, cloud-based download link, online records portal, or any other downloadable digital format maintained by your agency.

I also respectfully request a waiver of any fees associated with processing this request. The requested records are sought for public information and oversight purposes, and providing them electronically should minimize any costs associated with production. If a full fee waiver cannot be granted, please provide a written explanation of the basis for the denial, along with an itemized estimate of all anticipated fees, before processing the request or incurring any charge.
