Two separate emails were sent to you, the first one was sent on 5/28/2020
(see Below) and the second one was sent on 6/1/2020 (see below) with no
response from you, as the Borough of Lincoln Park was seeking
clarification on the OPRA request that you had submitted, and that we had
received on 5/28/2020 (see below) requesting:

 

1.    A list of all lawsuits and cases in which any officer of the police
department was involved between 2012 and 2019. For each lawsuit/case,
please provide the date (month and year) of the alleged incident at issue,
whether the alleged incident was excessive force, settlement amount (if
any), and final compensation amount ruled (if any).

2.     Please provide copies of the complaint in any lawsuits and cases
described in above.

 

The Borough of Lincoln Park was seeking clarification that this request
only pertains to civil lawsuits/cases filed against police officers, as
opposed to officers involvement in criminal/traffic cases. 

 

Since the Borough of Lincoln Park has not received clarification to either
of the emails that were sent to you on this OPRA request, dated  5/28/2020
(see Below) and on 6/1/2020 (see below), it appears that you are
requesting information pertaining to civil lawsuits that arose between
2012 and 2019 wherein Lincoln Park Police Officers were accused of some
kind of wrongdoing.  There have been no law suits.  If this is not what
you were referring to in your request, than you may file a separate OPRA
request clarifying what you are requesting.  This concludes the OPRA
request that you had submitted to the Borough of Lincoln Park.
