I want to take a moment to follow up on our meeting earlier today. I truly appreciate that you were willing to come in and share your thoughts—your perspective is important to us, and I was hoping our conversation would provide a space for you to feel heard and supported. With that in mind, I want to be honest in sharing that I was left feeling a bit disheartened by how our meeting concluded. I made a sincere effort to adjust my schedule to accommodate your concerns because I genuinely wanted to listen and work through any issues you wished to bring forward. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel that we had the opportunity to engage in the kind of thoughtful and productive dialogue I was hoping for. When you abruptly ended the conversation by stating,“ we’re done,” left little room for clarity, understanding, or a path forward.

I also want to gently address another concern that arose. When you entered the Certification Manager’s office without an appointment and appeared to be proceeding toward the Executive Director’s office unannounced, it created a situation that was unexpected and a bit disruptive. Please know that our team is always willing to listen and engage with residents—but it’s essential that we maintain a respectful and professional environment for everyone involved. Our staff, like our residents, deserve to feel safe, respected, and prepared for every interaction.

If you feel there is more, you'd like to discuss—which I welcome—I encourage you to consider scheduling a formal meeting with the Executive Director, Jacqueline Gray. Doing so ensures that your concerns can be addressed in a focused, constructive setting, with the time and attention you rightfully deserve.
