Subject: Re: 6/5/25 Meeting

I am sorry the meeting did not go as planned, I have felt extremely unheard, disrespected and constantly lied to from this office staff. I have a hard time expressing my emotions, and the other ladies know my condition. Having worked there for 8 years, and now knowing them for 10 years they know me very well so I really feel comfortable talking to them because they know certain situations. Thats why I wanted to speak with them, they know alot more about me.  I never knew we needed appointments, to speak with them when I am already in the office. I wanted Jackie to run the housing authority cameras, I had a disturbing person on my porch, who looked very suspicious. This is why we have our own security cameras, this has happened numerous times, and I have had stuff stolen. We have never heard we cant have security cameras, the Police encourage it because it makes their jobs easier when you have footage and proof. From my security cameras when my bike was stolen, and the neighbors I was able to provide them footage and they were able to locate who he was from this. I also have young kids and their friends over and its safer provided we live in a multiple apartment building with multiple people around. I also did not appreciate hearing about neighbors complaining about my table when I only have one neighbor on my floor, that we share who more than enjoys it. I didnt like hearing about you telling me about your maintenance person's own issues you had with his area, thats none of my business. I just really don't understand what neighbors would make complaints on something that they know nothing about, and I asked them all because I am friends with them, everyone except for one household.

Moving forward I will like to make appointments with Jacqueline. I will bring a third party, maybe a board member or a person from council, because I dont want anyone to think that the way I talk and express myself is disruptful or threatening because its a part of my emotional disability, and I left because I felt it was best for me to walk away because I felt our coversation wasnt going anywhere because you already had it in your mind. I was getting emotional, because I am really tired of always getting TARGETED, when I am just trying to live and not bother anyone,

Take care.

P.S IS there a specific reason why the D buildings spricket water is turned off, when the others are on. Certian tenants including myself use the water to wash down stuff or water plants and gardens. I checked all other buildings and they are working but not the D buildings. Thanks

Hi Arthur,

I want to take a moment to follow up on our meeting earlier today. I truly appreciate that you were willing to come in and share your thoughts—your perspective is important to us, and I was hoping our conversation would provide a space for you to feel heard and supported. With that in mind, I want to be honest in sharing that I was left feeling a bit disheartened by how our meeting concluded. I made a sincere effort to adjust my schedule to accommodate your concerns because I genuinely wanted to listen and work through any issues you wished to bring forward. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel that we had the opportunity to engage in the kind of thoughtful and productive dialogue I was hoping for. When you abruptly ended the conversation by stating,“ we’re done,” left little room for clarity, understanding, or a path forward.

I also want to gently address another concern that arose. When you entered the Certification Manager’s office without an appointment and appeared to be proceeding toward the Executive Director’s office unannounced, it created a situation that was unexpected and a bit disruptive. Please know that our team is always willing to listen and engage with residents—but it’s essential that we maintain a respectful and professional environment for everyone involved. Our staff, like our residents, deserve to feel safe, respected, and prepared for every interaction.

If you feel there is more, you'd like to discuss—which I welcome—I encourage you to consider scheduling a formal meeting with the Executive Director, Jacqueline Gray. Doing so ensures that your concerns can be addressed in a focused, constructive setting, with the time and attention you rightfully deserve. I remain committed to fostering open, respectful communication and truly hope we can continue this conversation in a way that feels meaningful and productive for you. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, and I hope we can move forward with mutual understanding and care.

Best regards,

Michelle White
