CDR-1’s were the exact subject of a recent OPRA decision. A municipality
cannot refer a requestor to another agency for CDR-1s. I would not worry
about being unable to handle a future request at this time and just put
together what we can produce for this request. Let me know if you have any

Justin,

Please see email from our police department below. I clarified w/Karyl
that the records cannot be queried by date, only by summons number. Both
the police and the municipal court are in possession of the records
although they are suggesting that the requestor be advised to contact the
County. I am thinking that if we have the records we cannot refer them to
another agency.

Hi Lisa,

I checked with Dana on this request, not sure if this should be directed
to them as Court Admin. 

Since they are asking for January, it's easy to start with example S
2022-0001.  However, if we

get a future request, say like for March, I wouldn't know what number to
start with.

Dana advised they would have to do the same thing, but they would probably
refer to the county on 

on this matter. She advised they forward all OPRA's to them.

Check with Justin again?
