OPRA Abandoned/VACANT/Probate- Morris
Dear Rockaway Township,
I appreciate your consideration of the following matter. Under OPRA and the Common Law Right of Access, I am requesting a current list of records over the past 2 YEARS for each of the following be delivered via e-mail in EXCEL format:
1) All abandoned/vacant residential properties (Property Class 2)
2) All condemned properties
3) All residential properties with delinquent taxes
4) All residential properties for which a Lis Pendens notice has been filed or that are currently in probate
5) All properties that are absentee-owned
6) All properties with delinquent water and sewer which date back up to 1 year, including amounts owed
7) All properties currently listed with water shut-off notice
8) All properties with code violations, including the type of violation
9) All properties with notices of abatement

Your OPRA request has been received; however, it cannot be processed until we receive further clarification from you:
"....records over the past 2 years..." - please provide a SPECIFIC range of dates.
"1) All abandoned/vacant residential properties (Property Class 2)" - there are no government records found responsive to this portion of your request. We do not maintain such a list.
"2) All condemned properties" - there are no government records found responsive to this portion of your request. We do not maintain such a list.
"3) All residential properties with delinquent taxes" - you will receive a response to this portion of your request within seven business days from the time we receive clarity to the other items in question for your OPRA request.
"4) All residential properties for which a Lis Pendens notice has been filed or that are currently in probate"- there are no government records found responsive to this portion of your request. We do not maintain such a list. Please contact the County.
"5) All properties that are absentee-owned" - there are no government records found responsive to this portion of your request. We do not maintain such a list.
"6) All properties with delinquent water and sewer which date back up to 1 year, including amounts owed" - please provide a SPECIFIC range of dates.
"7) All properties currently listed with water shut-off notice" there are no government records found responsive to this portion of your request. We do not maintain such a list, nor does the Township shut off water.
"8) All properties with code violations, including the type of violation" - this is overly broad and vague. Please provide exactly what type of code violations you seek.
"9) All properties with notices of abatement" - there are no government records found responsive to this portion of your request. We do not maintain such a list.
Your OPRA request cannot be processed until we receive further clarification from you.
