Dear Point Pleasant Borough,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

Please provide all building and zoning department records for 3601 Herbertsville Rd including (a) a record of all permits affecting the property whether open or closed, (b) violations if any, and (c) surveys if any. Additionally any Underground Storage Tank info, and any info on the property zoned as 2-family residential. Thank you!

Good Afternoon,

 

This office is in receipt of your request for records on the above
referenced property.  I have reviewed the zoning and code files.  I find
no record of any surveys on file and no outstanding violations on this
property.  The property is the R-1A zone which is single-family
residential only.  The dwelling is an existing non-conforming structure of
a two-family dwelling.

 

All other respective departments will reach out in a separate email.

Ladies:

 

Per the request, attached please find 4 permit cards which reflect all
permits of record, all of which have closed satisfactorily.  The requestor
will note permit #2002-0461 was for an underground storage tank removal.

 

Please note there is one (1) construction violation, #2019-0054 which
remains open.  This was issued for installation of two above-ground pools
without first obtaining a permit and for work done without a permit.  The
homeowner never addressed the issue.
