Dear Evesham Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. Dear Carla: thank you for your OPRA submission below, unfortunately, we
are unable to process your request as “open/closed”, “any/all” permits is
not naming the record, is too broad, and requires clarification. Per OPRA
law we are not required to research records. We request clarification
because “any permits” can be construed as (or range as) anywhere from a
parking permit to a block-party permit, to a food-handler’s permit, etc.
etc. . . . By providing us the specific identifiable type/category of the
record (i.e. construction permits), there is no miscommunication or
assumptions by either party, and it eliminates the research implication
which would invalidate your OPRA request. Furthermore, you did not state
the date or date range of the records.
Therefore, please provide the following information so we may begin
processing your request:
• Clarification of the type outstanding fee
• Clarification of the type of permit
