Open Records Request 0344

The request was successful.

Open Records Request

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

Records requested:
Under the Public Records Act, I formally request a current list of all residential properties in your city that have been condemned due to unsafe conditions.

Please provide requested records in Excel format if available.

If up-to-date data is not available, please provide the most recently available information.

Please include a Record Index with your response.
*A record index that identifies each record requested and the specific legal basis for a denial of access (including redactions) to each record.

Thank you,
Jack Smith

OPRA, Bayonne City

Consistent with the State of New Jersey's most recent directive regarding
OPRA requests, please be advised that the satutory deadline (7 business
days) does not apply during this current State of Emergency.  Consistent
with said directive, however, Bayonne's

custodian of government records shall make a reasonable effort, as the
circumstances permit, to respond to a request for access to a government
record within seven business days or as soon as possible thereafter.
Given our current reduced staffing levels during this State of Emergency,
we will endeavor to have your request answered as soon as possible, but we
project that certain requests will take up to 30 days to fulfill.  Thank
you for your understanding and patience.

Hello Jack, I have been advised that there is no listing of ‘Condemned’
properties maintained, however in your OPRA #21-405 you will received
‘notice of unsafe structure’ within the spreadsheet.

Jack, the attached documents are considered ‘unsafe structure’, which
would be related to ‘condemned’ since we do not have listings for
‘condemned’.

Documents are for OPRA #21-409
