Open permits

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Jersey City should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Jersey City,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

Any and all of the following records regarding the property known as 129 Poplar Street, Jersey City, NJ, Block 703, Lot 7 (the “Premises”):
·Documents regarding permits issued or applied for in connection with work or proposed work at the Premises and the status of such permits (including whether the permits are open, closed or have been signed off or approved);
·Documents regarding violations affecting the Premises (including whether the violations have been cured or satisfied);
·Documents regarding fines against the Premises as a result of violations or otherwise and whether same have been paid or have a balance due;
·Documents regarding zoning or planning board applications and resolutions affecting the Premises; and
·Documents regarding prior certificates of occupancy and any reports in connection with such prior certificates of occupancy
