Open Construction Permits and Oil Tank
Dear Perth Amboy City,

Records requested:
I am requesting open/closed permits and/or violations from January 2000 to present, as well as the Property Card. Also, I would like to know information regarding the presence of an underground oil tank, if applicable, including permits, remediation reports, environmental reports, and surveys showing underground oil tank location.
I would like to know if there were permits pulled to convert the basement into an apartment.

Thanks for the response Darlene! I just wanted to clarify that there were NO permits pulled to convert the basement to an apartment, even if they are closed? We are trying to determine if permits were pulled for it. Thanks!

The permit that was attached has been the only permit submitted for this address
If you'd like to know the legality of that apartment you must submit a Zoning Request for Information and the Zoning Officer would be able to look into that for you
