The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office received your Open Public
Records Act (OPRA) request on July 21, 2021.  As such, the seven (7)
business day deadline to respond to your request is Friday, July 30, 2021.
This response to your request is being provided to you on the fifth
business day after the Custodian’s receipt of said request.

You requested under OPRA “copies of all official misconduct complaints
made 2016-present for any public officials in the municipality of Franklin
Township. Include with all records the status of any
cases/investigations.”  Please find attached several public records which
are responsive to the request.  These consist of two (2) Indictments,
criminal Complaint-Summonses, and related Affidavits of Probable Cause. 
Information which has been redacted from these documents includes the
names of sexual assault victims, phone numbers of the defendants, driver’s
license numbers, and Social Security numbers.  Driver’s license numbers
and Social Security numbers are specifically exempt from disclosure under
OPRA pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:18-1.1. 

Both matters remain pending in the Criminal Part of the Superior Court in
Gloucester County, Law Division.        

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfulfilled within these seven (7) business days required by law, you have
a right to challenge a decision by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s
Office to deny access.  At your option, you may either institute a
proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with
the Government Records Council (GRC) by completing a Denial of Access
Complaint Form.  You may contact the GRC by toll free telephone at

Council can also answer other questions about the law.  All questions
regarding complaints filed in Superior Court can be directed to the Court
