Dear Middlesex County,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

Kindly provide a list of Sworn Law Enforcement Officers employed by Middlesex County who are not allowed to use Marijania due to federal policies. Ie. special federal task force, monies by federal government.

Please distinguish if they are Middlesex Sheriff Officers, Middlesex Police Correctional Officers or Proscutor Office

I write in response to your public records request for “a list of Sworn
Law Enforcement Officers employed by Middlesex County who are not allowed
to use Marijania due to federal policies. Ie. special federal task force,
monies by federal government.”
 
There are no records responsive as the County does not maintain such a
list. Further, even if such a list existed, it may be exempt pursuant to
Executive Order 21 to the extent that revealing the names of officers
assigned to federal task forces could compromise operational security. I
note that this response does not apply to the Prosecutor's Office, for
which you would need to file an OPRA request with that entity as that
office's records are maintained separately.
