Dear Mount Laurel Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
1. The date and reason for Officer Alan N. Levy’s separation from employment with the Mount Laurel Township.
2. The date on which Officer Alan N. Levy notified the Mount Laurel Township of his intent to separate from employment.
3. Any lawsuits, claims, or civil actions filed by Mount Laurel Township against Officer Alan N. Levy, including the case names, docket numbers, and dates filed.

On January 16, I submitted an Open Public Records Act request seeking records related to Officer Alan N. Levy.
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(i), a response was required within seven business days. As no response or written extension has been provided, this request is now deemed denied.
Please advise immediately as to the status of this request and provide the responsive records without further delay.
If the Township contends that any portion of the request is exempt, please provide a written response identifying the specific statutory basis for each denial as required by OPRA.
