Please be advised, your request for “al employment records relating to...”
is not a proper request under the OPRA Statute. The Open Public Records
Act provides for citizen access to specifically identified public
records. Searches, requests for information or requests that ask
questions are NOT valid OPRA requests. According to the Government Records
Council publication, “A Citizen’s Guide to the Open Public Records Act,”
OPRA requests must be specific: Requestors must be as specific as
possible when requesting records. For example, requestors must identify
types of records, dates, parties to correspondence, subject matter, etc.
As a courtesy, I forwarded your request to our Human Resources Department
and they have responded with the attached record(s) which provide(s) some
of the requested information. This is not the result of a comprehensive
search.
If you wish to request additional specific records through OPRA, please
submit a new request with the name of the records, the date of the records
and the subject matter of the specific records you are seeking.
