Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:
Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I am requesting access to and copies of government records related to Kronos timekeeping, shift coverage, and policy compliance within the Ocean County Department of Corrections.

Specifically, I am requesting the following records for the past three (3) months:

All Kronos swipe/time entry records for Sergeants John DeMarco and Jeffrey Pluta to include records in which they swiped out before there 8 hour shift with no relief.

Any reports, audits, or internal reviews identifying Kronos swipes outside of the authorized seven (7) minute window.

Any policies, procedures, memoranda, or directives regarding Kronos timekeeping requirements, including enforcement of the 7-minute window regarding supervisors that don't wait on relief or have relief from their shift to upcoming shift.

Any disciplinary records, counseling notices, or written warnings related to Kronos swipe violations for the above-named sergeants.

Any records, reports, logs, or documentation indicating that Sergeants John Demarco and Jeffrey Pluta worked their full eight (8) hour shifts without proper relief coverage.

Any supervisor policies, procedures, post orders, or directives regarding required relief coverage for assigned posts and supervision during scheduled shifts.

If any portion of this request is denied, please provide the specific legal basis for the denial in writing, along with the name, title, and signature of the custodian of records making such determination.

If possible, I request that these records be provided in electronic format.
