Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.) and in compliance with the certification requirements set forth under N.J.S.A. 2C:28-3, I hereby certify as follows:

I respectfully submit this request for records related to the appellate proceedings in the matter of Mirza M. Bulur, et al. v. New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, et al., Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, Docket Nos. A-0629-23 and A-1209-23 (consolidated), originally filed in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County, under Docket Nos. L-2736-23 and L-3290-23.

Request for Records
1. A copy of the motion for emergent relief filed by the State of New Jersey before the New Jersey Supreme Court in connection with this matter, as submitted on or about December 31, 2024.
2. Any briefs or memoranda submitted by the State in support of its request for the New Jersey Supreme Court to grant certification or otherwise hear this matter on appeal. If the State’s arguments as to why the Supreme Court should accept the case are fully set forth in the aforementioned motion for emergent relief, this request is intended to avoid duplication and shall be limited to the motion itself.
