NJ State Health Benefits Report
Dear Cranford Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

we request an extension until Tuesday, July 7th due to the mobilization of Clerk's Office resources dedicated to the Official Meeting preparation and follow-up tasks associated with the June 22nd Township Committee Meetings, the July 7th Official Meeting preparation, the June 26th Construction project bid opening and the June 25th RMC CEU of-site training.

In regards to your recent OPRA request pertaining to New Jersey State Health Benefits information as of 12/25, we request an extension until Friday, July 10th due to the mobilization of Clerk's Office resources dedicated to the Official Meeting preparation and follow-up tasks associated with the July 7th Township Committee Meetings and the Township’s annual records destruction event for all Departments to be held on Friday, July 10th.

In regards to your recent OPRA request pertaining to New Jersey State Health Benefits information for retired Cranford Township employees as of December 2025, please find attached information responsive to your request.
Please note that pursuant to NJSA 47:1A-10 "personnel and pension records" and NJSA 47:1A-1, No. 16 "Information...between a public agency and its insurance carrier..." certain record information was redacted.
In regards to your request pertaining to New Jersey State Health Benefits information for active Cranford Township employees, we request an extension for this information until Wednesday, July 15th due to the difficulty in redacting the information report as well as the mobilization of Clerk's Office resources dedicated to the Official Meeting preparation and follow-up tasks associated with the July 7th Township Committee Meetings and the Township’s annual records destruction event for all Departments which was held today on Friday, July 10th.
