Dear Senate Democratic Office,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

Records requested:

I am requesting written or electronic correspondence regarding the tenure recommendation / nomination of Judge Leslie Ann Justus of Monmouth County Superior Court.

The nomination by then Governor Chris Christie took place in 2018 and I am requesting correspondence and New Jersey Senate Judicial Committee transcripts regarding that nomination and subsequent denial or rejection of that nomination or appointment for tenure.

The correspondence could have been between any members of that committee and Judge Lisa Thornton of Monmouth County Superior Court.

Again I’m only requesting documents pertaining to the tenure proceedings and not of any particular court case.
