Our office received your OPRA request on December 28, 2022 for "1. does the city/town assign your municipal liens, 2. can we have a list of all tax lien investors 3. Can we have a list of all properties that are in bankruptcy 4. Can we have a list of all properties that have liens on them dating back to 2002 until today 5. Can we have a list of all properties that are in probate 6. Can we have a list of all vacant and abandoned properties." This response is being provided to you on the first (1st) business day of the custodian's receipt of the said request.

The following records are being provided in their entirety and are responsive to your request:

There are no further records pertaining to your request. Please be advised, the purpose of OPRA is to access public records and cannot be used to ask questions or seek information. As such, portions of your request may be denied. However, the Tax Collector advised that "Bergenfield does not assign Municipal Liens, information on bankruptcy and probates should be requested from the County Clerk's office, and the information provided by the Tax office is responsive to both portions #2 and #4."
