1.does the city / town assign your municipal Liens
2.can we have a list of all tax lien Investors
3.can we have a list of all properties that are in bankruptcy
4.can we have a list of all properties that have liens on them dating back to 2002 until today
5.can we have a list of all properties that are in probate
6.can we have a list of all vacant and abandoned properties

Good morning,

 

Montague Township is in receipt of your Open Public Records Act Request
(OPRA) dated December 27, 2022, and received in my office on January 3,
2023, requesting the following:

 

 1. Does the city/town assign your municipal liens (Answer: Yes, they
will.)
 2. Can we have a list of all tax lien investors (Attached)
 3. Can we have a list of all properties that are in bankruptcy (Attached)
 4. Can we have a list of all properties that have liens on them dating
back to 2002 until current day (Attached)
 5. Can we have a list of all properties that are in probate (The Township
of Montague does not keep such a list. If you reach out to the County
of Sussex they will be able to assist you in this request as they keep
these records. Therefore, the Township of Montague denies request #5
as no record exists see Pusterhofer v. N.J. Dep’t of Educ., GRC
Complaint No. 2005-49.
 6. Can we have a list of all vacant and abandoned properties. (Attached)

 

This response is being provided to you on the third business day after
receipt in my office.

 

Your request was forwarded to our Tax Collectors Office and the Township
Code Enforcement Officer and they provided me with the attachment in
response to your request.  As the documents are being provided to you by
e-mail, there is no charge for them.
