1.does the city / town assign your municipal Liens
2.can we have a list of all tax lien Investors
3.can we have a list of all properties that are in bankruptcy
4.can we have a list of all properties that have liens on them dating back to 2002 until today
5.can we have a list of all properties that are in probate
6.can we have a list of all vacant and abandoned properties

In response to your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request regarding the

Request

    Does the city/town assign municipal liens? The Tax Collector’s Office
has advised that municipal liens are redeemed by third-party, then they
assign

• List of all tax lien investors

See attached records responsive provided by the Tax Collector’s Office

• List of properties that are in bankruptcy

The Tax Collector’s Office has advised they do not maintain a list of all
properties in bankruptcy

• List of properties with liens from 2002 to present

See attached records responsive provided by the Tax Collector’s Office

• List of properties in probate

The Tax Collector’s Office does not maintain a list of all properties that
are in probate

• List of all vacant and abandoned properties

The Borough of Fort Lee does not require the completion of a registration
form for vacant properties, therefore there are no documents responsive to
your request for “All vacant abandoned properties.

 

Documents related to summons or other Municipal Court related documents as
filed in the Fort Lee Municipal Court are to be obtained by completing a
Judiciary Records Request which can be obtained through the New Jersey
Courts online website.  Please contact the Fort Lee Municipal Court at
201-592-3500 ext. 1509 for additional information.
