Please be advised the City does not maintain records in the manner
requested. You'd need to request specific records, for a specific
property, and for a specific time frame.

However, for your convenience, the Construction Official’s Office has
indicated that the requested permit records, as well as inspections, code
cases, violations, licenses, fire, zoning, etc., are available on-line and
may be located on the www.jcnj.org/permitportal where you can research any
property in Jersey City.  Please note that any permit prior to the latter
part of 2006, based upon the NJ Permit extension act, will be deemed
abandoned; after that it is considered open; to close the permit it will
require an inspection.

This OPRA request shall now be deemed closed.
