Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office is a member of the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and receives Cyber Tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for Cyber Tips that have been geo-located to Middlesex County, New Jersey.

I am respectfully requesting you review your records and determine the number of NCMEC Cyber Tips received by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office during the time period commencing January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025, and the number of arrests made by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office as a result of those Cyber Tips received during 2025. Thanks so much.

For reference, a previous request for your 2019 records was promptly responded to on October 23, 2023 by AP Joseph Jakuback, Esq. wherein the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office reported they received 36 Cyber-Tips and made 1 arrest during the year 2019.

Kindly review and report on the number of Cyber-Tips the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office received in 2025 and the number of arrests your office made as a result of receiving those Cyber-Tips. As a member of the NJ State Police ICAC Task Force you are required to report your arrest stats through the ICAC Data System and retrieving the specific records requested should be simple and easy
