MVA/Water Rescue Incident Records
Dear Burlington County Public Safety,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Please provide all records in the possession, custody, or control of Burlington County Public Safety and/or Burlington County Central Communications related to the March 8, 2026 motor vehicle crash / water rescue incident in Medford Lakes, New Jersey, including:
1. All 911 audio recordings related to the incident;
2. All 911 call logs and related call-detail records;
3. All CAD reports, dispatch notes, unit history, event chronology, radio transmission logs, and communication logs related to the incident; and
4. Any other county-held dispatch, call-taking, or emergency communications records related to the incident.
Incident details:
• Date: March 8, 2026
• Time: approximately 5:04 a.m.
• Location: Stokes Road near Lenape Trail / Ballinger Lake, Medford Lakes, New Jersey
• Nature of incident: single-vehicle crash / water rescue involving a vehicle that left the roadway and entered Ballinger Lake
