This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

1. All full and complete Montclair Police Department Telephone Directories. Edits/revisions thereto, dates of edits/revisions, by whom the edit/revision was made, and under whose authority said edit/revision was made.
*This includes All full and complete Montclair Police Department Telephone Directories maintained, kept or stored by any/all the Township of Montclair departments and utilities and their divisions. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, any and all Montclair Police Department Telephone Directories disseminated by email and/or any other means of storage/dissemination. This also includes, but is not necessarily limited to, any storage and/or dissemination by Human Resources, the Township Manager, and the Montclair Police Department. All copies are requested.

Dear Montclair Township,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Open Public Records Act reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Montclair Township's handling of my OPRA request 'Montclair Twp Police Department and Montclair Twp Fire Department Telephone Directories'.
Please and kindly review this denial of this records request for the reason, "There are no responsive records held in this Department/Office."
This would seem to be an inappropriate denial, as such records must exist in one, if not more of the Departments specified., including the Montclair Police Department and the Montclair Fire Department.
For clarity, it includes directories of telephone numbers and extensions for the various offices and bureaus within the Montclair Police Department and the Montclair Fire Department.
The original request included, from January 1, 2019 through February 28, 2024, inclusive;Montclair Twp Police Department and Montclair Twp Fire Department Telephone Directories disseminated by email and/or any other means of storage/dissemination. It further included Human Resources, the Township Manager, the Montclair Police Department and the Montclair Fire Department . All copies were and are still requested.

The FD has released all accessible records. Due to the cyber
incident, the Fire Department does not have access to all of
our records. Please advise as to whether you would like to
extend your OPRA request in 60 day intervals or close it and
create a new request at a later date. We currently have no
idea when any records will be made available or if there are
more for this property. We will extend the first 60 day
interval awaiting your response.
