BACKGROUND NO. 1

The City's April 19, 2023 response to an April 11, 2023 OPRAMachine request made by Kate Delaney indicates that City does not have any City Council 2022 or 2023 meeting minutes on file, despite the "promptly available" mandate of N.J.S.A. 10:4-14. The object of this request is to determine if the City's response was in error or if the City has since produced those meeting minutes.

RECORDS REQUESTED NO. 1

1. Minutes for all Salem City Council public meetings held from January 1, 2022 to current date. There are no documents responsive to this request. I will release these documents as soon as they are available. I am working on getting up to date ASAP.

2. Minutes for all Salem City Council nonpublic (closed or executive) meetings held from January 1, 2022 to current date. There are no documents responsive to this request. I will release these documents as soon as they are available. I am working on getting up to date ASAP.

3. Any resolutions that, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 10:4-13, authorized any Salem City Council nonpublic (closed or executive) meetings held from January 1, 2022 to current date. These documents are attached.

BACKGROUND NO. 2

Finding 2021-001 of Findings and Recommendations section of the City's 2021 audit states that "a fixed asset ledger was not maintained for the year 2021" despite the mandate of N.J.A.C. 5:30-5.6. The object of this request is to determine if the City has since remediated this deficiency.

RECORDS REQUESTED NO. 2

1. The current fixed asset ledger maintained by the City. There are no documents responsive to this request.

BACKGROUND NO. 3

N.J.S.A. 10:4-12(b) requires the City Council to hold a public comment period, but allows the Council to determine the length of the public comment portion.

RECORDS REQUESTED NO. 3

Any written rules that govern the length of the public comment portion of a meeting or otherwise regulate public comments at Council meetings. This document is attached.
