Good Afternoon,

This is response to your OPRA dated March 30, 2021 requesting Midland Park Softball Associations financial records from 2015 to 2020 , namely, Form 990, Form 990-EZ, Form 990-PF, Form 990-T, and Form 1065, including any attachments, supporting documents, and follow-up correspondence with the Internal Revenue Service, with the exception of the names and addresses of donors on Schedule B. As well as IRS form 1023 or 1023ez.

The Borough of Midland Park does not possess or maintain the records being requested.

As of 11/18/20 Ordinance 12-20 states the Recreation Advisory Council shall require all quasi-municipal organizations to provide monthly bank statements of all accounts in order to maintain insurance coverage and field usage for their organization.

What the Borough has on file relative to the financial records of Softball is attached and have been redacted for security purposes.

This completes your request.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

By the way, nice name and story, Sidd Finch, fictional baseball player, the subject of the notorious April Fools' Day hoax article "The Curious Case of Sidd Finch" written by George Plimpton and first published in the April 1, 1985, issue of Sports Illustrated. 😊

Regards,

Wendy Martin, R.M.C.
