The OPRA is a new state law that was enacted to give the public greater access to government records maintained by public agencies in New Jersey. The public has the right under the OPRA to examine or obtain copies of those public records that are not subject to exceptions from disclosure. Under the OPRA, all levels of New Jersey government are required to produce records, when properly requested. Certain records are exempt from disclosure. The OPRA expands the intent of the Right to Know law by re-defining what records are available to the public, by setting standards for accessing those records, and accessing penalties when a public agency fails to disclose them in accordance with the OPRA..

Driver History Abstract Request & Related Documents (See form for details and other fees*) Fee $15 – Form DO-21
Vehicle Registration Application Request- Fee $15 – Form DO-11A
Driver License Application Request – Fee $15 – Form DO-11
Notarized Authority to Release Personal Motor Vehicle Information for second party requests – Form DO-21A
All of the information above must be mailed in accordance with instructions on the form.

* Access to and use controlled by the Driver Privacy Protection Act, N.J.S.A. 39:2-3.3 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 13:18-11.3. Fees set by N.J.A.C. 13:18-11.4.

Sherry, are you receiving my request or replying to another?? My request does not involve vehicle registration at all. I am requesting a copy of the AGENDA AND MEETING MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 15th 2020 MOTOR VEHICLE COMMISSION MEETING, along with a copy of Item #2010-04 which is listed on the Agenda item #10, on the Oct 15 2020 minutes.
Again, this has nothing to do with Vehicle Registration, and I am not asking for certified copies of any MVC vehicle document.
Please direct this email to the OPRA COORDINATOR / RECORD CUSTODIAN at the Office of Regulatory and Legislative affairs. I need a copy of a meeting agenda, what does that have to do with your form DO-11A?
PLEASE BE ADVISED ACCORDING TO LAW it is a requirement in OPRA that all government employees of New Jersey forward an OPRA records request to the proper records custodian or direct the requestor to the proper records custodian ( N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.h.) , which you are failing to do.
