Please be advised the OPRA Request you submitted to the Village Clerk’s
Office “Inbound/Outbound Emails from/to Mayor Susan Knudsen regarding
keywords: “HealthBarn”, “Health Barn”, “Habernickel”, “Hillcrest Park”,
“Hillcrest Family Park”, “Hillcrest Field”, “1057 Hillcrest”. From
2/1/2020 - 1/13/2021.” is too broad.  A preliminary search of our Village
server produced an excess of 31,000 pages of emails, which would require
over 10,000 hours to redact which could justify a cost to you of
approximately $28,000 for labor and materials.  

At this time, we request clarification of your OPRA request.  Please
respond in writing and identify the specific government records sought so
that we may process your request.   Failure to provide written
clarification of your request will result in the closure of this OPRA
request.  Thank you.

We have completed our search to meet the revised parameters of your
request “HealthBarn”, “Health Barn”, “1057 Hillcrest” for the same time
frame.  Please note the number of emails are approximately 970 which
equates to approximately 2910 pages which will require 97 hours to redact.
You are permitted 3 hours w/o charge by ordinance. The cost of $25 per
hour would total $2350 approximately for redacting.  We would only charge
to print 2710 pages as you are permitted 200 pages w/o charge and that
approximate fee would be $135.50.  Therefore, your total approximate fee
would be $2485.50 for the revised request.  Please advise how you would
like to proceed.  Thank you.

which equates to approximately 1269 pages which will require 42 hours to
redact. You are permitted 3 hours w/o charge by ordinance. The cost of $25
per hour would total $975 approximately for redacting.  We would only
charge to print 1069 pages as you are permitted 200 pages w/o charge and
that approximate fee would be $53.45.  Therefore, your total approximate
fee would be $1028.45 for the revised request.  Please advise how you
