Loitering Ordinance

The request was successful.

Please accept this as my request for government records under both OPRA and the common law right of access. Thank you very much for your commitment to transparent government.

BACKGROUND:

On July 21, 2011, the Township Committee passed Ordinance No. 458 that, among other things, repealed Chapter 79 captioned "loitering." The Township Committee took this action in response to my request, in my capacity of Chairman of the New Jersey Libertarian Party's Preempted Repeal Project. Unfortunately, I did not retain a copy of the repealed Chapter 79 in my files.

RECORDS REQUESTED:

Ordinance 156, adopted on December 30, 1976 which should contain the original Chapter 79 captioned "loitering."
