List of Properties

The request was partially successful.

Dear Roxbury Township,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

- A list of all properties that have had fires occur, or have had emergency calls to the property since the beginning of 2022
- A list of all property addresses that have had their water bill liened against the property, have failed to pay their water bill, or have had the water shut off at any point.
- A list of all property addresses that are currently vacant, abandoned, or boarded up.

Yours faithfully,

Nathan

Kathy Florio, Roxbury Township

Nathan,

Please see below response from the Roxbury Township Police Department and
provide clarification.

Amy,

Can you have the requester narrow down what type of “Emergency Calls” they
are looking for. This request is way to broad for an entire year.

Thanks – Jen

Dear Amy Rhead,

For the fires occurred, I was just looking for a list of property addresses in town that have experienced building fires in 2023.

Concerning the "water bill liens", instead of at any point, please just do in 2022. This also goes for "failed to pay water bill" and have had "water shut off"

Also I did not receive the vacant property list anywhere.

Yours sincerely,

Nathan

The current vacant property list was provided by the Planning Zoning Dept.
Their email and list comprises the last three pages of the 76-page email
attachment that was previously sent (the list has the heading "VPR List
for OPRA 20230111-003"). I just checked the OPRA Machine site and the
pages are definitely there (screenshot attached highlighted and arrows
showing bookmarked page numbers).

The original request seeks, "A list of all properties that have had fires
occur, or have had emergency calls to the property since the beginning of
2022". The below email clarifies "emergency calls" as being "building
fires (in 2023)". The information included in the 76-page attachment that
was previously sent to you (2^nd page of 76), although it included 2022 as
originally requested. We have also reached out to the three volunteer fire
companies to make sure the previously provided list was complete and there
were no additional building fires, but an extension to 02/10/2023 is
required to obtain their responses.

The original request seeks, “A list of all property addresses that have
had their water bill liened against the property, have failed to pay their
water bill, or have had the water shut off at any point.” All available
records were provided in response to your original request. You are now
seeking, “just…2022”. We will resubmit this portion with a recalculated
response date since it was not what you originally requested. NEW:
Concerning the "water bill liens", instead of at any point, please just do
in 2022. This also goes for "failed to pay water bill" and have had "water
shut off".
