List of Municipal Officials in the County
Dear Warren County,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Please provide the most current county-maintained directory/list of municipal elected officials (mayor and governing body) for all municipalities in [County], including any fields you keep such as: office/position, member name, party (as on ballot or ‘nonpartisan’), and term expiration. Please provide in CSV or Excel if maintained or readily convertible, or otherwise in a meaningful electronic format.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Dear Mr. Cyprian,
Warren County, NJ government does not maintain a list of municipal elected officials in either CSV or Excel formats. We do compile an official print directory each year, which includes the information you requested. Attached is a PDF file of pages extracted from that publication (each municipality has its own page, with the data you are seeking at the top of each page). Please note that Pohatcong Township Council is non-partisan. We believe this fulfills your request.
Should you have further questions or concerns, we will do our best to answer them. If you feel you have been denied information erroneously, you may wish to file a Denial of Access complaint with the NJ Government Records Council (GRC).
