Dear Gloucester County Clerk,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Under NJSA 19:13-20(a)(4), please provide the following records:
- Most current official list of all Gloucester County Democrat Committee members
I would strongly prefer the records in an Excel/CSV format, as well as in PDF format please.
The list/export/document should include all available information (e.g., name, party Affiliation, SVRS ID numbers, gender, town, mailing address, phone number, email address, birthday, seats vacated/currently vacant/any appointments since the previous elections, etc.)
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Good morning David,
The Gloucester County Clerk's office is in receipt of your open public
records request (OPRA) dated Monday, March 23, 2026 in which you request a
"List of all Gloucester County Democratic Committee Members". N.J.S.A.
19:13-20 (a) (4) is the controlling statute regarding county committee and
states, “…the municipal clerk shall certify to the county clerk an
official list of the duly elected county committee members and an official
list of the municipal committee chairs. The county party chairperson shall
have a continuing duty to report to the county clerk any vacancies,
resignations, and committee positions filled pursuant to R.S.19:5-2 or
19:5-3…” The County Clerk is merely a receiver, recorder and repository of
such records.
Therefore, attached are copies of the county committee certifications on
file from the municipal clerks as well as all updates from the Democratic
county chairperson.
