Dear DEP records,
Were you able to find out if they were actual employees or if they were just interns? My OPRA request said "employed", which means currently working and being paid, not an intern from 2007. If they have to go back that far to find another black person that has been present in that office, I think they may want to look at their hiring practices.

The three names provided to you are all employees. The "I" indicates "Inactive" and the "A" indicates "Active" with regards to their employment status. Interns are not paid by the NJDEP, but by the organization sponsoring them as Interns.
