Licensed general contractors and 2024 building permits with associated service providers for Woodbridge Township NJ
Dear Middlesex County Clerk,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
1. A list of all general contractors licensed with the city/township (if the list exists)
2. A list of all building permits issued for calendar year 2024, including the general contractor, owners, architect and any other construction service provider listed on the permits.

This Office has reviewed your OPRA request for "a list of all general contractors licensed with the city/township (if the list exists) 2. A list of all building permits issued for calendar year 2024, including the general contractor, owners, architect and any other construction service provider listed on the permits", and has determined that no records exist which would be responsive to your request. The Middlesex County Clerk’s Office does not maintain this information, as this type of record is generally maintained by the municipality. I would suggest that you submit an OPRA request to Woodbridge Township in order to obtain records responsive to your request.
