Library - Renovation Health Concerns

Library: Correspondence from staff and department heads regarding staff health concerns in November-December 2022 during beginning of renovations; any correspondence with Board about staff health concerns from same time period. (Read PEOSH violations on previous OPRA so build off from last request)

Dear Ms. Miller:
Your request requires additional time beyond the seven (7) business days to fulfill. OPRA allows custodians to seek extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.i. Specifically, OPRA states that, "the requestor shall be advised by the custodian when the record can be made available. If the record is not made available by that time, access shall be deemed denied."
Your request requires an extension of time until Friday, May 5, 2023.

In response to your OPRA request, please see below and the attached.
"Many of the documents you requested contain information about employees' own medical, psychiatric or psychological history, diagnosis, treatment or evaluation. Government records containing any of this information are not subject to disclosure under OPRA. See Executive Order No. 26 (McGreevey 2002). Also not produced are any records containing information which is subject to the attorney/client privilege because those records also are not subject disclosure."
