Letter to Council President Mercado from Councilwoman Stubbs
Dear Gloucester Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
On Monday January 24, 2022, GT Council President Orlando Mercado stated that he received and is possession of a letter that was submitted by Councilwoman Andrea Stubbs, regarding her absenteeism. I am requesting that letter, and any other letters that Councilwoman Stubbs has submitted to GT Council, Clerk, or solicitor, regarding her being absent from meetings from January 1, 2021 to January 25, 2022. It is very clear what I am requesting, and it is my hope that you will not feel the need to request additional details.
I am hoping that my request can be fulfilled within the 7 business day OPRA requirement, and not 7 "Gloucester Township days.

The Township of Gloucester is not in possession of any documentation in reference to the medical information for Councilwoman Andrea Stubbs. However, the distribution of any medical documentation provided and shared with the public without the consent of the Council Member would be in violation of HIPPA Laws.
