Dear New Jersey Department of Education,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

Records requested:

1. Outside Legal Counsel Invoices: Copies of any and all itemized legal billing statements, invoices, and fee applications submitted to the New Jersey Department of Education (including its divisions, units, or the Office of Fiscal Accountability and Compliance - OFAC) by outside legal counsel, special counsel, or law firms retained in connection with audits, inquiries, or proceedings involving the North Hanover Township School District from January 1, 2026, through the date of fulfillment of this request.

2. Investigatory & Forensic Vendor Invoices: Copies of any and all invoices, billing statements, fee schedules, or financial accounting records submitted to the NJDOE (or OFAC) by external investigators, forensic auditing firms, labor relations consultants, or specialized investigative vendors regarding matters, audits, or inquiries involving the North Hanover Township School District from January 1, 2026, through the date of fulfillment of this request.
