Dear Union City,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.), I request access to the following government records maintained by the City of Union City.

1. Any invoices, billing statements, vendor payment records, accounts payable ledgers, check registers, or other records reflecting payments made by the City of Union City to O’Toole Scrivo LLC from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024, and from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.

2. Any invoices, billing statements, vendor payment records, accounts payable ledgers, check registers, or other records reflecting payments made by the City of Union City to Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024, and from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025.

3. Any invoices, billing statements, vendor payment records, accounts payable ledgers, check registers, or other records reflecting payments made by the City of Union City to Scarinci Hollenbeck LLC from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024, and from January 1, 2025
to December 31, 2025.

4. Any contracts, engagement letters, legal service agreements, professional service agreements, or retainer agreements between the City of Union City and the following firms in 2025 & 2026:
• O’Toole Scrivo LLC
• Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law)
• Scarinci Hollenbeck LLC
including any amendments or renewals.

5. Accounts payable ledger or vendor payment report listing all payments made by the City of Union City for fiscal year 2024 and 2025.
