Re:      Extension of OPRA request dated 9/4/2019

Dear M. Roman:

Kean University received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request on
September 4, 2019.  As such, the initial seven (7) business day deadline
to respond to your request is Friday, September 13, 2019.

Your OPRA request sought access to the following government records:

All contract agreements between Kean University and Kean Family RE:
Liberty Hall.

Under the agreement, Kean University will protect and preserve Liberty
Hall's lands, buildings, memorabilia, furnishings and papers.

Please be advised that an extension of time is required to appropriate
process your request.  Accordingly, your request will be extended until
October 4, 2019, 2019. OPRA allows custodians to seek extensions of time
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47: IA-Si. Specifically, OPRA states that "the
requestor shall be  advised by the custodian when the record can be made
available. If the record is not made available by that time, access shall
be deemed denied."
