Re:      Partial Disposition of 10/28/2020 OPRA Request

Dear M. Roman:

Kean University originally received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
request on October 28, 2020.  As such, the initial seven (7) business day
deadline to respond to your request is Monday, November 9, 2020.

Your request sought access to the following government records:

1. Karen Grant Haber - Title, Position, Salary, Payroll Record, Length of
Service, Date of Hire, Date of Separation and the reason therefore, and
the amount and type of any pension received.

2. Please provide all invoices for VP II LLC, aka Vital Promotions, aka
Backstage Promotions/Owner-Partner Michael Haber All yearly records on
file - According to the NJ State General Records Retention Schedule

In response to Item 1 of your request, Ms. Karen Haber has been with the
Fire Safety Program since November 10, 2008.  Her current salary as the
Director 4 of the Fire Safety Program is $90,173.00.  Please be advised
that retirement data resides with the State of New Jersey.

Please be advised that the remainder of your request will require an
extension of time as University operations have been impacted by COVID-19
guidelines and protocols.  As such, your request will be extended until
December 7, 2020.  OPRA allows custodians to seek extensions of time
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5i.  Specifically, OPRA states that “the
requestor shall be advised by the custodian when the record can be made
available.  If the record is not made available by that time, access shall
be deemed denied.”

request on October 28, 2020.  On November 9, 2020 you were provided with a
partial disposition responsive to Item 1 of your request below. 

Your request sought access to the following government records:

1. Karen Grant Haber - Title, Position, Salary, Payroll Record, Length of
Service, Date of Hire, Date of Separation and the reason therefore, and
the amount and type of any pension received.

2. Please provide all invoices for VP II LLC, aka Vital Promotions, aka

of your request as University operations continue to be impacted by
COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.  As such, your request will be extended
until December 14, 2020.  OPRA allows custodians to seek extensions of
time pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5i. Specifically, OPRA states that “the
requestor shall be advised by the custodian when the record can be made
