Hello,
I was forwarded these documents by the Records Clerk from the Police Department.
If you did not receive a document that you requested then those documents are not available.
Whatever you received is what they had on file for Justin Lamb. So no documents were denied but were not on file. Some of the older files were destroyed in storage during Sandy and they also contained older certificates so they would not exist anymore due to the files being destroyed in the storm.
You have received all documents that the Police Records Clerk had on file for your request.

Good morning,
Attached is a certification that was sent over to me by the Police Records Clerk regarding your email/opra request below.
I am sorry for the delay as I was not aware that she could not locate the document electronically and was waiting for a manual copy that was done by the Sergeants that were in charge of the certifications. She was on vacation after that for a week and was back this week and it was in her inbox. This is the only document that you did not receive except for the basic training certificate that was included in your email with the other documents that stated that those boxes were damaged during Superstorm Sandy. Again, I apologize for the delay, as sometimes, issues arise when records are requested from all different departments and one person (Custodian of Records) is in charge of getting these documents to the requestor. Unfortunately, we are a small town and are understaffed as well as having to do our regular day to day daily tasks.
I am not trying to minimize the situation, I am just trying to explain that we are all human and try to do the best we can but issues will still arise.
