Dear Mount Laurel Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

Copies of email, text message, iMessage, SMS message, RCS message, Signal message, Telegram message, WhatsApp message, and other written correspondences, including on personal devices, sent by councilwoman/mayor/deputy mayor Fozia Janjua for the time period of January 1, 2023 through the present, containing any of the following search terms: “Jews", "Jewish", "Hamas", "October 7", "10/7", "Palestine", "Palestinian", "Allah", "Shariah", "Sharia", "Nazi", "Hitler", "hostages". Please direct Fozia Janjua to certify that she searched her personal devices, as required by Vele vs. Borough of Englewood Cliffs, App. Div. Docket No. A-3905-2.

As required under Rosetti vs. Ramapo-Indian Hills Regional High School Board of Education, 481 N.J Super. 1 (App. Div. 2025), the records searched must include private devices and accounts. In light of Vele vs. Borough of Englewood Cliffs, App. Div. Docket No. A-3905-23, private devices discussing public business are government records under OPRA and are disclosable. Additionally, pursuant to Elvage vs. West Milford Twp., GRC Complaint No. 2009-07 (April 2010), there is no requirement that "subject of the email" be provided, as a search for "content" may be utilized in place of subject.

My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Yours faithfully,

Jack Jack Jack!

George M. Morris,
