Subject: OPRA Request

Dear Custodian of Records,

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I hereby request the following records:
1. All invoices submitted by the law firm Scarinci and Hollenbeck to Union City from December 1, 2023, to January 31, 2025. This includes detailed billing statements, dates of services rendered, descriptions of services, and the amounts charged.
2. A comprehensive list of all payments made by Union City to Scarinci and Hollenbeck during the same period. This should detail the payment dates, amounts, and any corresponding invoice numbers.

I request that these records be provided in electronic format and sent to my email address listed above. If any of the requested records are exempt from disclosure, please provide a detailed explanation for each exemption claimed, as required by N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(g). Additionally, if the records are available but cannot be provided in the format requested, please inform me of the alternative formats available.

Please be aware that OPRA mandates a response within seven (7) business days. If access to the records I am requesting will take longer than this time frame, please contact me with an estimated date of availability.

If my request is denied in whole or part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions under OPRA. I expect you to release all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material. I reserve the right to appeal any decision to withhold information or to deny a waiver of fees.
